PETER MAHER
DIRECTOR OTUS
A masters graduate in business from the University of Auckland, Peter has held senior posts within the New Zealand Intelligence Corps and was a founding member of the reformed Corps in New Zealand and ranking Corps reservist officer. Additionally he has extensive operational intelligence experience in civil intelligence and the corporate sector. He has undertaken comprehensive intelligence training in both the New Zealand and Australian Army schools of Military Intelligence and has 20 years of operational experience in many facets of intelligence. Skilled in security, competitive intelligence, corporate counter-intelligence, conferencing, operational research and process design, he brings a broad background of intelligence related skills to the company.

In addition to intelligence based skills, he has extensive operational aircrew experience in the civil aviation industry , broad business knowledge, training expertise, and international trade skills. Peter is active in a number of professional associations including the University of Auckland Alumni, the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers (AIPIO), the Australasian Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP AUST), 'Sub Rosa' military Intelligence Corps Association, and the New Zealand MBA Society.

BERNARD MORAN
Associate OTUS
A freelance journalist by training Bernard has a long association with the military, serving in the UK and Europe as well as with the New Zealand Army in the Intelligence Corps. A director of Trinity Associates, an information research firm, he brings 20+ years of journalistic field investigative skills grounded in military intelligence experience. He has built an extensive network throughout the Pacific Basin and is well 'connected' in the United States as well. Bernard is a member of 'Sub Rosa' the Military Intelligence Association as well as many other professional associations. Skills include country studies, security assessment and information collection.

Dr. GORDON MAXWELL
Associate OTUS
Our Hong Kong based OTUS associate, Gordon brings to the OTUS group a formidable array of skills and experience. He is a director of Trinity Associates a research company specializing in information research. A former member of the New Zealand Special Air Services, Gordon has had considerable operational experience throughout SE Asia. He has a doctorate, is a double masters graduate, and has a diploma in education and instruction. Gordon speaks Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese as well as Thai and Malay. He brings to the OTUS group extensive research capability and a 'stellar' network of contacts throughout SE Asia. His skills include operational research and analysis, regional studies, project design and implementation, instruction and risk assessment. He is a member of many professional associations and currently represents OTUS' interests throughout South East Asia.
